The Patient Gardener

At Politecnico di Milano, students are constructing an organic two-story retreat that will take over 80 years to grow.
With the help of Stockholm based design firm, visiondivision, they are growing and bending Japanese cherry blossom trees into this proposed structure. How beautiful! Sustainable architecture is so interesting. I hope I'm around to see the finished strucutre!
